Donna GreenDonna Green
Donna Green has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Industrial Design from Sydney College of the Arts in Sydney, Australia. She worked as an industrial designer in Sydney and after moving to New York in 1985, she joined Industrial Design Magazine as one of the editors. Donna started working with clay in 1993 - studying ceramics at Greenwich House Pottery and Parsons School of Design in New York.

Donna moved back to Sydney in 1995 and studied ceramics at East Sydney Technical College and exhibited a series of coil built vessels at The Ray Hughes Gallery in Sydney. She participated in the Clay Sculpt workshop in Gulgong, New South Wales, assisting in building an on-site sculpture on the property as well as firing the anagama kiln.

Returning to New York in 1998, Donna joined the Flatiron Clay Studio on 21st Street where she exhibited with the studio. She has exhibited her work at Japan House, Greenwich House Pottery and Bazzinis, all in New York City. She has participated in workshops at the Anderson Ranch Art Center in Snowmass Village, Colorado and The Good Hope Plantation in Jamaica.

In 2004 Donna opened an independent studio in Long Island City and sells her work by commission.
